Start High School
4:30pm - 7:30pm
TPSPC would like to invite you to attend a Parent Summit and Meet/Greet the Superintendent at Start High School.
This event will offer a chance for parents/guardians of our District to
browse tables hosted by many community organizations showcasing services
offered that may assist you or someone you know this upcoming school
year and well into the future. It will also be an opportunity to
meet the new Superintendent and welcome him to our District.
We hope to see you there.

TPS Parent Congress would like to welcome Dr. Jerome Pecko as Superintendent of the Toledo Public School District. We wish him the best and look forward to working with him over the next three years.

TPS Updates
TPS Recently sent out
this letter explaining the changes for the 2010-2011 school year.
At the July 13 Special Board Meeting, the Board of Education voted to proceed with putting a 7.8mil property tax levy on the November ballot. TPS faces a $44million deficit for the 2011-2012 school year.

Note in the above presentation that Toledo is listed 7th out of 8 in Lucas County in terms of effective millage rates. Ranked lower only by Anthony Wayne who's average property value exceeds Toledo's by almost 200%.
